Studio `91’s very own interpretation of the holiday classic, `Twas the Night Before Christmas, also known as "`Twas."
Open to all Studio `91 dancers who:
- Participated in Extra Tap/Extra Jazz/Special Ballet during the 2010/11 Dance Season (which determine what you will participate in during the performance);
- Are participating in ADSI/Summer 2011;
- And are registered for the 2011/12 Dance Season in Extra Tap/Extra Jazz/Special Ballet.
- Also invited to participate are dancers from the 5-Week Junior Jazz Classes held during the 2010/11 Dance Season; are registered for ADSI 2011; and the 2011/12 Dance Season.
The cost will include cast t-shirt, choreography master classes, rehearsals and an awesome time!
- All families will be asked to promote the show and distribute promotional items throughout the community.
- All dancers will be required to purchase at least one costume and/or props for the production. Some costumes will be borrowed; used from the June Show 2011; or will be purchased and used in the June Show 2012.
All `Twas dancers will have rehearsals - August 9th thru 18th. Schedule to be determined; if your dancer has any conflicts please list them and return to Miss Janice by JUNE 11th, 2011. Miss Janice does understand that students may miss workshops for vacations. Fall rehearsals will be held on Fri./Sat. before/during/after their Specialty Classes as needed. A fall rehearsal schedule will be distributed late August.
Don’t delay, register today!
All families will need to volunteer in some capacity! All dancers will need to participate in a group fundraiser to help cover wardrobe costuming updates. It will take everyone to put this production together and make it the best it can be. The same rules apply for this show as the June show. With your completed registration, you are giving your commitment, as well as your dancer’s, to give 100% to rehearsals, the production, promoting the event, and having fun!
