Competition Dance Team:
Studio `91 is proud to invite current Studio `91 dancers to audition for the Studio `91 Competition Dance Team. Dancers, 3rd thru 12th grades, must be enrolled in a combination class, Special Ballet, and Extra Tap/Jazz throughout the dance season. Auditions are held during our summer dance session. The summer class is mandatory for current/interested dancers. Participation in the competition class does not guarantee placement on the Dance Team, former or newly interested.
Sponsorships:
– Mechanicsburg Area Park’s and Recreation’s annual dance held for kindergarten thru 5th grade girls and their special adult. The dance is sponsored by Studio `91.
– Studio `91 supports local school musicals.
-Studio `91 contributes to silent auctions through out the community.

Annual June Performances

The culmination of our dance studies throughout the year is exhibited in the annual June spring performance. It is a time of great excitement for the children as well as their parents. This performance is intended to instill a sense of pride and accomplishment in our dancers, demonstrating what they’ve learned during the last dance season. This is the largest production of the year and attendance typically exceeds 2000 guests as we close out the dance season.

During our holiday show, Studio `91 dancers perform a variety of pieces. Often a specific theme for the production is set in advance and all studio dancers are given the opportunity to participate in this fun and seasonal demonstration. The exhibition includes Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Modern.
‘Twas the Night Before Christmas

This special biennial performance is held every other year – years ending in even numbers i.e. 2024-2026-2028.
Disney Trip

Location: Disney Springs, Orlando, FL MAP IT
Every four years dancers from Studio `91, involved in specialty classes, are given the opportunity to join us for a trip to Orlando, Florida to perform as part of Disney’s Magic Music Days. Our dancers submit an audition tape one year prior to receive consideration for this honor. Dancers from 5th to 12th grade perform before visitors at the world’s most popular amusement park. The dancers also participate in “Disney Dancin” workshops. As a performing group we typically stay at the Pop Century and arrange a variety of entertaining activities, events and meals for both dancers and their families. Must be in grades 5th (Class of 2033) thru 12th (Class of 2026).
