Miss Mary Pinto
Mary Pinto joined the staff and students of Studio '91 in the fall of '97.
Previously, Ms. Pinto taught ballet, tap and pre-school classes at the Harrisburg Dance Conservatory for ten years.
She was the Artistic Director of the Conservatory and, prior to this, Ms. Pinto owned and operated her own ballet school in Carlisle, PA for twelve years.
She trained in London at the Royal Ballet School, and in New York at American Ballet Theater. She holds teacher's certificates in R.A.D. and Cecchetti methods.
Ms. Pinto has danced professionally with the National Ballet of Iran and the Pittsburgh Ballet in such ballets as Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, Giselle, and Rite of Spring.
She has choreographed and performed for the Harrisburg Opera Company and other area groups. Ms Pinto also holds a B.S. in psychology from Shippensburg University.
Ms. Pinto recently retired from Oasis Ministries in Camp Hill and hopes to spend more time with her family and to pursue hobbies.
