Miss Krysten Kumler
Miss Krysten Kumler began dancing at the age of eleven, with Starstruck Studio of dance, located in Mechanicsburg. There she learned the beginning basics of Jazz and Tap. At age fourteen, Miss Krysten joined the Studio `91 dance family. It was then she began studies in Ballet, and furthered her Tap and Jazz experience. She was involved in all extra classes at Studio `91 for Jazz, Tap, and Ballet, and was en pointe’ by her Senior Year of High School.
While dancing for Studio `91, Miss Krysten was privileged to be able to take various master classes, participate in the Capitol Kickline and National Dance Week workshops, dance for Pumpkin Fest, and in the Farmer’s Fair Parades, as well as Dancing at Disney 2004. She was a student aid, and completed her Senior High Project as a student teacher.
Upon graduating from Studio `91 in 2005, Miss Krysten received her diploma in Medical Assisting, and currently works for a local cardiology firm.
Miss Krysten’s interest in dance was renewed when her daughter began taking dance lessons at Studio `91, at the age of 3. It is then she started assisting in the classroom.
Miss Krysten currently lives in Mechanicsburg with her fiancé Scott, two children, Olivia and Matthew, and puppy, Maximus!
