Miss Darla Markley
Miss Darla graduated from Shippensburg University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Marketing). She joined Studio `91 in 1995.
During her twirling career, Darla Markley has received several hundred trophies and medals in competition twirling, including the Pennsylvania Parade Majorette title.
She is a twirling judge and teacher with the National Baton Twirling Association and Twirling Unlimited.
She has been an instructor for local high school majorette squads, Carlisle Parks & Recreation, Mechanicsburg Parks and Recreation, plus several private students. Darla lives locally with her cats, Alvin, Simon, Theodore, Yammer, Prancer, and Cinder.
Over the past two years, our baton students have successfully competed at several twirling competitions!
